Willamette Speedway Announces Updated Purse Payout Structure for All Racing Classes
LEBANON, OR — Willamette Speedway management has announced a new update regarding the purse payout structure, effective immediately. To ensure the competitive health and sustainability of our racing programs, a minimum car count will now be required for full payout in all classes.
New Payout Guidelines
Under the new policy, the following car count thresholds apply to the main event:
Full Purse Payout: Requires a minimum of 7 cars starting the main event.
Half Purse Payout: Will be issued to classes with 6 cars or fewer starting the main event.
A Commitment to Competition
Willamette Speedway recognizes the immense dedication, time, and financial investment required by every team that enters our gates. This adjustment is designed to encourage larger fields, which directly benefits the fans and maximizes the points structure for the drivers in every class.
"We appreciate every single team that chooses to race at Willamette Speedway," said Nate Ellertson, General Manager and Race Director. "We want to see our pits full and our racing as competitive as possible. We encourage all drivers to work together with their fellow racers to ensure healthy car counts every week."
